Knox County has more then 511,000 residents, and the greater Knoxville area is approaching one million people, making it one of the largest population centers in Appalachia & East Tennessee.
511,453 people call Knox County home but only about 1 in 5 people are actively involved in a Christian church.
Approximately 4 out of every 5 people in Knox County are not actively involved in a local curch.

WHY NOW?
Our mission as Christ followers has never changed. Matthew 28:19 says to “Go and make disciples of all nations” and that includes Knoxville.
Scripture also says that the harvest is ripe but the labors are few.
It’s the right time because Jesus is the hope and answer for all humanity.
“And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” - Romans 10:15
