OUR STORY

A few years ago, God began stirring something deep within Christina and me—and honestly, in the hearts of our five children. It all started with a simple verse:

“One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life…” — Psalm 27:4

He began calling us to seek Him above everything else. More than building something for Him, He invited us to simply be with Him.

Knoxville is home. We love this city, and it’s exciting to watch so many others discover what makes it so special. But more than anything, we believe God loves this city, and He’s placed a burden in our hearts to create a place where people can encounter Jesus, experience His presence, and find family. God made it clear that He was calling our family to plant a church in Knoxville, and we knew our only response was obedience.

That’s how The House was born.

Our prayer is simple:
To dwell in His House and become a house He can dwell in.
